Home Cooking
Only one team in 2012 had a home advantage.

Eight of the nine AIHL teams in 2012 collected more points away, than they did at home.

Ironically, that one team was the Newcastle North Stars, who needed just one more home game win to win their fifth championship. Instead, of course, it was the Melbourne Ice keeping the Home/Away trend alive with an away win for their third crown.

Here are the statistics, do you think this trend will continue? Why did it happen, and will it happen again in 2013?
